In 2018, he played in five games with the 49ers and registered two special teams tackles and one forced fumble.Alexander was originally drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fifth round (172nd overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft and has appeared in 56 career games, primarily on special teams. In 2016 with the Chiefs, he earned a Pro Bowl nod as a special teamer after leading Kansas City with 12 special teams tackles.
