The Redskins got blown out on national tv on Monday night https://www.theredskinslockerroom.com/authentic-terry-mclaurin-jersey , losing to the Chicago Bears 31-15. That dropped them to 0-3 for the season, and now they face the Giants in New Jersey and try to avoid 3 division losses within the first month. There is a lot riding on this game for the Redskins, and their coaching staff. Head Coach Jay Gruden and Defensive Coordinator Greg Manusky’s jobs are reportedly on the line this week, and a loss could mean one or both of them are fired on Monday. The Redskins continue to deal with injuries this week. Chase Roullier(knee) joins Jordan Reed(concussion) this week on the inactive list. Brandon Scherff is dealing with an ankle injury from Monday’s game, and he is questionable this week. and Wes Martin will be active for the first time and get his first start at right guard. The Redskins other rookie offensive linemen, Ross Pierschbacher would also be active if Scherff can’t go. Terry McLaurin had a minor hamstring pull on Thursday. He’s listed as questionable, but reportedly should be able to play against the Giants.Matchup: Washington Redskins(0-3) vs New York Giants(1-2) Date/Time: Sunday, Sep. 29 | 1:00 p.m. ETLocation: Metlife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ TELEVISION: FOXThom Brennaman (play-by-play)Chris Spielman (analyst)Shannon Spake (sideline)(via 506sports)RADIO: Redskins Radio Network Larry Michael (play-by-play) Chris Cooley (analysis) Rick “Doc” Walker (sidelines)Live Streaming: NFL.com Game Pass Montez Sweat Jersey , fuboTVOdds: Redskins +3, O/U 49Prediction: Giants 33 - Redskins 24Enemy Blog: Big Blue View Ereck Flowers flopped as a left tackle with the Giants and the ninth overall pick of the 2015 draft wound up getting cut without playing out his rookie deal with the team.He landed with the Jaguars and didn’t do much better before hitting free agency this offseason. Washington signed Flowers, moved him inside to guard and he’s currently slated to start at left guard when they face Philadelphia in Week One.In an interview with Rhiannon Walker of TheAthletic.com, Flowers said he’s “just trying to learn [his new position] and learn it fast,” which leaves him with little time to pay attention to detractors who Flowers believes are mostly echoing opinions they’ve heard from others.“People don’t think for themselves,” Flowers said. “Everybody goes off what the next person says; you know what I mean? So it’s whatever to me. I’m just going out there and enjoying playing this game as long as I can play it. I’m just here to get better. I’m here to get better every day, and I’m going to get better every day and every game. It doesn’t bother me what people have to say.”For now, the only people whose words have much meaning for Flowers are Washington head coach Jay Gruden and offensive line coach Bill Callahan. As long as they believe he can do the job, he’ll have a chance to rewrite some of what’s been said about him over the last few years.
